On the Wrists of David Beckham: Sports and Style Superstar
David Beckham is arguably the world’s most famous soccer player and definitely one of the biggest names in sports. While he has retired in 2013 after an illustrious 20-year career, he went on to become an advocate for different causes and a global style icon.
A known watch aficionado, Beckham had an earlier affiliation with Breitling and is a keen fan of Rolex. In May this year, he signed on as the brand ambassador for the Tudor Watch Company – a good match for someone who has successfully reinvented himself.
Below, we show you the watches that have graced Beckham’s wrists:<br
Beckham is most often photographed with his Rolex Seadweller Deepsea, so we’ll assume this is one of his favorite models. He has the standard Rolex model and an all-black version which was customized by Bamford Watch Department.
He has also been seen with two other black-dial Rolex watches – a stainless steel Rolex Daytona, and a Rolex Submariner. Photos from Sporf on Twitter and Victoria Beckham on Instagram<br
One of the more unique watches that Beckham has been seen with is his gold and steel vintage GMT Master with a nipple dial and brown bezel. Instead of a traditional Rolex bracelet, the watch sits on a brown leather fatstrap.<br
Earlier this year, Tudor launched its partnership with Beckham through the “Born to Dare” campaign, a tagline created to reflect the brand’s history and future. He’s a great choice considering he’s a fan of Tudor’s parent company, Rolex, yet is willing to try something new. In the campaign, he wears the Black Bay S&G two-tone, stainless steel and gold diver’s watch that may remind one of the Rolex Submariner. Photo from David Beckham on Instagram<br

When you picture Steve McQueen, what do you see? Maybe he’s in a Ford Mustang, tearing up the streets of San Francisco. Perhaps he’s on a motorcycle, leaping a barbed-wire fence. Or maybe he’s leaning against a race car, exuding an effortless aura of confidence. Whatever the scene, you’re not just seeing an actor; you’re…
For years, the world of men’s luxury watches, especially in celebrity circles, has been dominated by a simple mantra: bigger is better.
