Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon Apollo 8 Ceramic Mens Watch 311.92.44.30.01.001

Noah Lyles, USA

Noah Lyles, who is currently the fastest man in the world, won gold in the men’s 100-meter event, edging out Jamaica’s Kishane Thompson by just .005 seconds. As he ran his ultimately victorious race, the American sprinter was spotted wearing the bold and practical Omega Speedmaster Apollo 8 on his wrist.

Introduced in 2024, this edition of the Dark Side of the Moon pays homage to the 1968 Apollo 8 mission. It retains most of its 2018 predecessor’s attributes such as the black ceramic case and bezel, yellow accents, and partially skeletonized face that resembles the moon’s surface. Other standout features include the seconds hand that mirrors Apollo 8’s Saturn V rocket and the Caliber 3869, which promises a 50-hour power reserve. Photo from niccoloy on Instagram
