Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds may just have it all
Hollywood good looks, box office appeal; and a beautiful family with actress Blake Lively. On top of that, Reynolds has impeccable but effortless style.
The Piaget ambassador now wears the brand’s timepieces on his wrist on- and off-duty, but we’ve seen him wear other brands, too. We checked out Ryan Reynolds’ reel and real life watches through the years:
Omega Speedmaster MoonShine Gold Green Dial 310.63.42.50.10.001
Omega Speedmaster in Moonshine Gold
Ryan arrived at the 2022 Met Gala alongside wife Blake Lively decked out in a velvet tux by Ralph Lauren. He accessorized with a stunning Omega Speedmaster
featuring Omega’s patented 18 karat yellow gold dubbed Moonshine Gold, with a sun-brushed green PVD dial and Moonwatch-style hands.
One of Reynolds’ most unique timepieces is the Piaget Altiplano Scrimshaw Engraving Watch. The art of scrimshaw involves engraving on bone and ivory, followed by an application of pigment to bring out the design. Reynolds’ choice model features a falcon engraved on a dial of fossilised mammoth ivory.
Ryan also became the face of the Piaget Polo S, a modern interpretation of the brand’s steel sports watch first released in 1979. Introduced in 2017, the new Polo S marks the first all-steel collection from the brand, equipped with new automatic date and chronograph movements made especially for the range.
Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon Ceramic Mens Watch 311.92.44.51.01.003
Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon
The Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon collection is a tribute to the Apollo 8 mission, where astronauts first saw the side of the moon that faces away from earth.
Aside from the all black color, the collection is unique in that it doesn’t use steel or gold like the rest of the Speedmasters; rather, the watches in the collection are made from a single piece of black zirconium oxide ceramic.
Cartier Roadster XL Chronograph Silver Dial Steel Mens Watch W62019X6
Cartier Roadster Chronograph (The Nines, 2007)
We also spotted Ryan wearing a Cartier Roadster in his 2007 movie, The Nines. The Roadster’s design celebrates all that is great about vintage cars. Launched in 2001, the Roadster was designed as a contemporary update to the brand’s Tortue model, which was inspired by automobiles from the 1950s. The tonneau shaped case is both sleek and sporty; and makes it stand out among the sea of round and rectangular watches.
Panerai Luminor Marina Titanium (Self/Less, 2015)
Panerai watches were originally created for the Italian Navy, hence their thick, large and robust case. While the majority of Panerai watches are made of steel, the brand has also produced their classic models using titanium
a light, hypoallergenic and strong material that allows for longer and more comfortable wear.
Ryan wore the PAM351 model on screen in the 2015 movie Self/Less, with a brown leather strap. Panerai’s Spring Bar system allows the wearer to remove the strap gently, and switch styles from time to time.
When you picture Steve McQueen, what do you see? Maybe he’s in a Ford Mustang, tearing up the streets of San Francisco. Perhaps he’s on a motorcycle, leaping a barbed-wire fence. Or maybe he’s leaning against a race car, exuding an effortless aura of confidence. Whatever the scene, you’re not just seeing an actor; you’re…
For years, the world of men’s luxury watches, especially in celebrity circles, has been dominated by a simple mantra: bigger is better. Heavy gold, oversized faces, and diamond-encrusted bezels have been the go-to symbols of success. But a new trend is quietly taking hold, and one of its most visible proponents is a certified style…
The action at the US Open wasn’t just on the courts this year. Lionel Messi. The name resonates with footballing greatness, unbelievable skill, and a trophy cabinet that gleams as brightly as any treasure hoard. But beyond the pitch, the Argentinian maestro possesses another collection that commands attention – his impressive array of Rolex watches.
