Team Monaco has launched its entry into the all-electric E1 powerboat racing championship, opening a new chapter that combines high performance with environmental responsibility. Racing under the patronage of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, the team represents a modern Monaco mindset: innovation that moves fast but thinks long-term. To mark this milestone, Team Monaco has partnered with independent Swiss watchmaker Bianchet as Official Watch Partner, aligning two worlds driven by engineering, precision, and forward-looking design. The collaboration celebrates competitive spirit on water while reinforcing a shared commitment to sustainability and technical progress, with Prince Albert II himself seen wearing the UltraFino Monaco.
At the center of the partnership is the UltraFino Monaco, a limited run of 98 flying tourbillon watches , a direct reference to Monaco’s country code. Styled in the Principality’s signature red and white, the piece is built to be featherlight, durable, and visually sharp. Its case uses a white quartz-fiber composite developed for high-stress technical environments, chosen for strength, resilience, and weight reduction. Inside, an ultra-light titanium flying tourbillon highlights the performance focus. True to Bianchet’s design language, the watch follows Golden Ratio proportions, delivering structural harmony with a distinctly architectural edge.
The project goes beyond branding and into shared philosophy. Both partners emphasize balanced performance, power with control, innovation with purpose, and mechanics with emotion. For Bianchet, the collaboration extends its performance-driven watchmaking into a new sporting arena where every gram and every second matter.
