Briston expanded its Streamliner Urban collection with a 42mm chronograph that builds on the brand’s sport-chic language. The case stands out for its hybrid geometry, combining round and square contours in a form that’s both compact and architectural. Framed by a tonneau-shaped bezel fixed with four screws, the body features Briston’s hallmark tortoise shell cellulose acetate, contrasting with the integrated octagonal pushers and crown that keep the profile fluid and contained.
Dial-side, the embossed waffle pattern adds texture without compromising readability. Stamped Arabic numerals and recessed markers keep the layout crisp, while a date window at six o’clock picks up on the case’s barrel form. Four dial colours, black, white navy blue, ice blue, and taupe each matched with vulcanized rubber straps for a uniform finish that leans urban but stays casual.
A newly developed stainless steel bracelet offers an alternative fit, cut with straight-edged links, vertically brushed surfaces, and polished bevels. It connects cleanly to the case and secures with a folding clasp. The Streamliner Urban continues Briston’s shift toward a more technical, street-savvy presence while staying grounded in its material DNA and French design roots.
