The Delphis Firestarter is a limited edition of 50 pieces and introduces a new case construction developed by Chronoswiss. The 42mm case is built using a Titanium Core Nano Shell structure, combining a Grade 5 titanium core with a 0.4mm composite outer shell in red. The materials are permanently bonded through a molecular-level process, and the case is machined from a solid block of composite, rather than applied as a surface coating.
The dial is produced on a curved 18ct white gold base and hand-guillochéd in the Chronoswiss Atelier in Lucerne. It is finished with five layers of red fire enamel. The display follows the Delphis layout, with a jumping hour at 12 o’clock, a retrograde minute indication across the upper half of the dial, and a small seconds display at 6 o’clock on a curved subdial. All dial components are shaped to match the overall curvature of the construction.
Powering the watch is the Chronoswiss Manufacture Calibre C.6004, offering a 55-hour power reserve. The movement supports the jumping hour and retrograde minute functions and is visible through the sapphire caseback. Produced in a numbered series of 50 examples, the Delphis Firestarter combines advanced case engineering with traditional dial-making techniques within the Delphis collection.
