With the Flying Regulator Night Day collection, Chronoswiss continues its exploration of contrast and balance, using light and darkness as narrative tools rather than simple design cues. Limited to 50 pieces each, the Whiteout and Midnight editions reinterpret the brand’s regulator display through two dramatically different atmospheres, both rooted mechanical clarity.
The Night Day Midnight leans into a more celestial mood. Its dark blue guilloché dial, produced in the atelier in Lucerne, evokes the depth of a night sky in constant motion. At nine o’clock, the three dimensional day night indicator becomes a visual anchor, its laser cut stars illuminated with Super LumiNova to create a subtle sense of animation once the light fades. The result feels contemplative and richly layered without becoming ornate.
By contrast, the Whiteout edition embraces restraint and purity. The white guilloché dial reflects an almost surreal calm, allowing the regulator layout to breathe and emphasizing legibility above all else. Both models are driven by the C.296 automatic caliber, visible through the sapphire caseback and offering a 42 hour power reserve. With their onion crown, 100 meter water resistance, and unmistakable Chronoswiss architecture, these two interpretations offer distinct yet complementary expressions of time.
