Chronoswiss has never been shy about its own history, and the new Strike Two collection wears that confidence openly. Rooted in Lucerne and quietly nodding to the brand’s experimental ’90s Tora, the Strike Two revives the horizontal regulator layout with a modern, muscular sensibility. Twin bridges dominate the dial, framing exposed gearwork and a hand-guilloché small seconds that reminds you that this is real watchmaking.
At 12.7mm thick, the case strikes a rare balance: assertive without being overbearing, architectural without losing wearability. Powering it all is the new Caliber C.6000, developed with La Joux-Perret, delivering a 55-hour reserve and a visual feast on the reverse. Ruthenium tones, radial Côtes de Genève, a tungsten rotor, and a skeletonized gear train combine for a movement that’s as considered as it is confident.
The two executions split the mood neatly. Golden Gear leans into restrained opulence in steel with gold accents, and a dark grey dial that feels sharp rather than flashy. H2O, meanwhile, plays with depth and color, its blue dial adding a sense of motion and modernity. Limited to 100 pieces each.
