Delbana kicks off its 95th year with a fresh update to one of its best-known designs: the Rotonda. First seen in the 1950s, the model has always been about clean lines and balanced proportions, and this new version keeps that spirit while tightening up the details. The focus is on strong monochrome dials and easy daily wear, giving the watch a more contemporary attitude without losing its roots. It’s an evolution, not a redesign, familiar at a glance, but sharper the longer you look.
The dial does most of the talking. A vertically brushed center section is framed by a matte outer ring, creating depth through texture rather than color contrast. It feels restrained and deliberate, with a subtle nod to earlier Rotonda executions. Applied Arabic numerals and indexes are filled with lume for clear visibility, matched with luminous syringe-style hands. A red-tipped central seconds hand adds just enough energy to break the symmetry and keep the display lively. The overall effect is crisp, readable, and quietly distinctive.
The watch comes in a 40 mm polished stainless-steel case with a domed sapphire crystal and a see-through caseback showing the automatic movement. Water resistance to 50 meters covers everyday situations comfortably. Dial choices include salmon, purple, black, and blue. Each bring a different mood, paired with either a leather strap or a five-link steel bracelet. It’s a versatile mechanical piece that delivers heritage, color, and practicality in one tidy package.
