Favre Leuba expands its Chief Chronograph line with two striking new dial options: British Racing Green and Dune. First launched in 2024, the Chief Chronograph pays tribute to the brand’s 1970s cushion-shaped chronographs while refining them for today. These new colorways add fresh personality to the collection, balancing sportiness and elegance without losing sight of its vintage roots.
The dials remain the star of the Chief Chronograph. Each one undergoes more than a hundred production steps, combining sunburst, circular brushing, and ribbed contours to create depth and texture. This intricate process limits which colors can be executed with clarity and balance—making the new green and dune tones all the more impressive. The British Racing Green model channels the heritage of motorsport, with a shifting tone that glows bright in sunlight and deepens in shade. The Dune edition, by contrast, offers subtle warmth, pairing sandy hues with rose-gold accents for a refined and understated look.
Both watches feature the signature 41 mm cushion-shaped steel case, 14 mm in height and water-resistant to 10 ATM. Finishing alternates between brushed and polished surfaces, while an integrated two-link steel bracelet and additional FKM rubber strap ensure versatility. Inside beats the FLC02 automatic chronograph, developed with La Joux-Perret, equipped with a thermally blued column wheel for precise, crisp engagement and a 60-hour power reserve. Visible through the sapphire back, the movement displays Geneva stripes, perlage, blued screws, and a skeletonized rotor, details that underline Favre Leuba’s dedication to modern craftsmanship rooted in tradition.
