IWC Schaffhausen presents the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Staffel 11, a 250-piece limited edition celebrating the centenary of Switzerland’s Fighter Squadron 11. The 44.5 mm case is in black zirconium oxide ceramic, a material IWC pioneered in the 1980s and is known for its extreme hardness. The squadron’s tiger emblem appears on the black dial and is engraved on the titanium caseback, while the number 11 glows with Super-LumiNova® as a tribute to the squadron. Yellow highlights on the pushers, small seconds hand, and date display echo the colors of the tiger insignia.
At the heart of the watch is the IWC-manufactured calibre 69380, a column-wheel chronograph movement built for precision and reliability. It offers a 46-hour power reserve, crisp tactile pusher feedback, and a vertical sub-dial layout for clear readability. A soft-iron inner case protects the movement from magnetic fields, ensuring dependable performance in the cockpit.
The Staffel 11 is fitted with a black rubber strap featuring the EasX-CHANGE® quick-release system. Reflecting nearly 90 years of IWC’s expertise in pilot’s watches, it combines resilience, clarity, and functional elegance in a fitting tribute to a century of Swiss aviation excellence.
