Jaeger-LeCoultre enriches the Master Ultra Thin Moon with a new copper-grained dial, subtle in texture, warm in tone, and beautifully contrasted by the polished steel case. The surface shifts from pale, powdery copper to richer shades as the light moves, giving the watch a contemporary sensibility without disturbing the line’s timeless restraint.
The 39mm case frames a dial celebrated for its balance: elongated indexes, faceted Dauphine hands and, at 6 o’clock, the signature moon-phase display. Here, the complication takes centre stage with a silver moon floating over a deep blue, star-studded sky, encircled by a date track printed directly on the copper surface. The harmonious proportions reinforce the Master Ultra Thin’s discreet sophistication, while the new brown alligator strap adds warmth and an extra layer of versatility.
Powering the watch is Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Calibre 925, a mainstay of the Manufacture. This self-winding movement has been quietly refined over the years and now offers a 70-hour reserve, ensuring real-world practicality. Through the sapphire case-back, the movement reveals its hand-finished architecture, including Geneva stripes, polished bevels and a beautifully open-worked 22-carat pink-gold rotor. Like all modern JLC creations, the Master Ultra Thin Moon is certified under the exhaustive 1,000-Hour Control.
