At its heart lies the in-house Calibre 734, a movement of 335 components that animates a shooting star across the dial at random intervals, an elegant nod to the unpredictability of the cosmos. Limited to just 10 pieces per variation, it is a quietly breathtaking demonstration of the Maison’s savoir-faire in astronomical complications.
The dial is a layered theatrical stage. A sapphire disc, painted freehand with lush peony blooms, conceals the shooting star until it springs to life. Beneath it, a rotating mother-of-pearl disc, airbrushed in shades of deep blue, carries a laser-cut silhouette of the star, revealing a luminous metallic layer below that mimics a streak of light across the sky. Artists work in pristine conditions, anti-static gowns, no room for error, because even a speck of dust means starting over. Diamonds trace the star’s arc and encircle the bezel, lugs, and crown. The pink gold version features a fully pavé-set bracelet shimmering with 625 diamonds, while the blue model pairs with glossy alligator leather, accented by 189 stones.
