Kross Studio has unveiled one of its most enchanting creations yet, a limited-edition Harry Potter Collector Set, restricted to just 10 pieces worldwide. The set unites two watchmaking and artistic marvels: the Harry Potter Central Floating Tourbillon, a kinetic homage to Quidditch, and a mechanical music box that plays the instantly recognizable “Hedwig’s Theme.” In collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, Kross Studio channels Hogwarts’ mystique through beautiful watchmaking and whimsical design.
The centerpiece timepiece stages an airborne duel above the central floating tourbillon, where miniature gold figures of Harry Potter, Cho Chang, Cedric Diggory, and Draco Malfoy rotate in pursuit of the Golden Snitch. Each hand-painted character is sculpted in 18-karat gold. Beneath the sapphire dome, the KS 7’006 movement powers this spectacle, a hand-wound, 229-component mechanism with a 120-hour power reserve and a unique peripheral hour display that preserves a clear view of the levitating tourbillon.
Completing the set, the “Enchanted Flight” music box, made with REUGE, transforms John Williams’ score into mechanical poetry. Over 1,200 precision-pinned notes conjure pure nostalgia which is a fitting soundtrack to a collector’s item where Haute Horlogerie meets Hogwarts magic.
