To celebrate 15 years of independent watchmaking, Laurent Ferrier introduces the Classic Tourbillon Teal, a new chapter in his iconic Série Atelier. Limited to only five pieces, this ultra-rare edition revisits the original Classic Tourbillon, the watch that first won Ferrier international acclaim at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève in 2010. Its 41 mm case, inspired by 19th-century pocket watches, is made entirely in 950 platinum, marking the first time the brand has used this precious metal. With its smooth pebble-like contours and distinctive ball-shaped crown, the case underscores both elegance and exclusivity.
At the heart of this timepiece lies a striking grand feu enamel dial in a vivid teal tone that combines subtle shades of green and blue. Set on a white gold baseplate, the dial features hand-applied Roman numerals, a railway minute track, and a small seconds framed by a polished white gold flange. Sky blue enamel accents enhance the depth of the teal surface, while Ferrier’s signature assegai-shaped hands in gold complete the refined aesthetic.
Powering the Classic Tourbillon Teal is the LF619.01 calibre, a hand-wound movement with a double balance spring tourbillon designed to deliver exceptional chronometric precision. Visible through the sapphire caseback, the movement showcases horizontal satin-brushed bridges with ruthenium treatment and rhodium-plated components, a first for the brand. With over 80 hours of power reserve and meticulous hand-finishing, including thirty sharp internal angles on the tourbillon bridge, this timepiece embodies the very essence of Haute Horlogerie. Exclusively available online at laurentferrier.ch from 4 September 2025, the Classic Tourbillon Teal is a true collector’s treasure.
