It created fine Swiss watches over the years but then had a lull in the late 1990s. It was purchased by a private investor in 2003 and has since revived as a maker of mechanical watches with timeless design and high-quality movements. Despite the affordable prices of these watches, each is finely finished so that the brand and the watch owner can take pride in the traditional Swiss craftsmanship. It offers watches with power reserve, regulators, chronographs, and even moon phase displays.

Under Emch’s leadership, Louis Erard underwent a significant transformation.
