Richard Mille is marking the 12th edition of the Le Mans Classic, set for July 3 to 6, 2025, with a new special release: the RM 30-01 Le Mans Classic. First held in 2002, this celebrated event brings historic race cars back to life on the famous 13.6 km Sarthe circuit. Around 750 cars, spanning eras from 1923 to the 2000s, will race in six different categories. The spectacle doesn’t stop at the track as more than 9,000 classic cars will be on display, brought together by over 200 car clubs and collectors. From an audience of 30,000 at its debut, the event has grown massively, drawing 235,000 spectators in 2023.
Richard Mille has been a key supporter of the Le Mans Classic since its early days, drawn by a shared appreciation for engineering excellence and timeless design. It’s not just a partnership on paper, members of the brand, including Maxime Guenat, son of co-founder Dominique Guenat, compete in the races themselves. This hands-on approach reflects a deeper passion for motorsport and a tradition that carries through generations of the Mille circle.
To honour the event, Richard Mille is releasing 150 pieces of the RM 30-01 Le Mans Classic edition. The watch is instantly recognisable with its green and white details, a nod to the event’s colours. It features a titanium case, Green Quartz TPT® caseband, racing-inspired strap, and a new 24-hour counter with a green “16” marking the race’s start. It’s a watch built with the same intensity as the cars it celebrates.
