Venezianico Redentore Utopia

Venezianico launches the V5000, its first in-house mechanical movement, developed entirely in Italy through a partnership with OISA and led by veteran watchmaker Fausto Berizzi. The manually wound caliber brings together a four-bridge architecture, a double-supported balance, and a 60-hour power reserve. Performance is a clear focus, with ±3 seconds per day in accuracy, supported by a split gear train that separates seconds from the main time display to reduce interference. Features like the KIF shock protection system and inertia-variable balance wheel point to careful choices rooted in long-term precision and mechanical integrity.

The V5000’s construction favors both function and refinement. Radial Côtes de Genève, micro-perlage, and hand-polished anglage define the movement’s surfaces without excess. Bridges are machined from solid metal, and all components are assembled in controlled environments by specialized watchmakers.

Debuting this movement is the Redentore Utopia, a 38mm stainless steel watch with a hand-guilloché dial made by Riccardo Renzetti. The engraved pattern, enhanced through ion plating, interacts with light to produce a dynamic visual texture. Faceted alpha hands and baton indices follow the dial’s curvature, housed under a sapphire crystal. Completing the model is a Tuscan leather strap by Gian Pietro Failli. With only 100 numbered pieces, the Utopia defines Venezianico’s intent to align mechanical performance with Italian craftsmanship in both form and function.
