In spring 2023, Vulcain and CronotempVs Collectors introduced a limited edition Cricket watch as a tribute to André Didisheim, a descendant of Vulcain’s founder and a former Real Madrid football player. The Cricket André DIDIXEIN features a 39mm diameter polished steel case with an engraved back. The crown at 3:00 allows manual winding of the watch movement in one direction to set the alarm and in the opposite direction to set the time. Additionally, the pusher at 2:00 is used to set the alarm with an arrow-shaped hand.
Inside the case is the Vulcain Caliber V-10, a manually wound movement with a double barrel, evolved from the original 1947 movement. It operates at 18,000 vibrations per hour and offers a 50-hour power reserve. The dial feaures an elegant design with Arabic numerals coated in Superluminova. To achieve a vintage look similar to the 1950s original model, a chromatographic effect simulates aging.
