The Vulcain Cricket Tradition 36mm and 39mm watches are a perfect mix of vintage charm with modern craftsmanship, drawing from Vulcain’s 1950s design catalog. Featuring applied Arabic numerals and indices, the dials come in salmon, eggshell, and black. The seconds and alarm hands contrast against the dial, while sharp dauphine hands curve elegantly towards the crystal.
The dial simplifies the alarm and minute tracks, marking alarm times at 10, 30, and 50. Powered by the Vulcain manufacture caliber V-10, these hand-wound watches have a 42-hour power reserve, two barrels, and Vulcain’s Exactomatic system.
The Cricket Tradition features a mechanical alarm, ringing for around 20 seconds on a full wind. A single crown and pusher simplify the design; the pusher sets the alarm, and the crown winds both barrels. Despite their functionality, these watches are under 13mm thick and comfortable on the wrist, with a steel Vulcain buckle and an engraved caseback reading “Sold The World Over Since 1858.”
